In two-storey townhouses, wardrobe and bed panels often have to go up a narrow staircase. Most flat-packs are easiest to carry up in their cartons and build in the room they will stay in. Tell us if the stairs turn or the bedroom is upstairs.
Anchoring a tall unit means finding a sound fixing point. Older homes (often built before about 1950) may have lath and plaster walls and newer ones plasterboard, so each house is checked on site. We fit supplied anti-tip hardware where the wall and the unit are suitable, and we will say so if we cannot find a safe fixing point.
