TV wall mounting in Pascoe Vale
In Pascoe Vale, an older family home off Cumberland Road and a recently built townhouse near the Gaffney Street shops can have very different walls. Picking the right wall and height is half the job. We mount TVs on brick and plasterboard, subject to a check of the wall and position.

Choosing the right wall
The best wall is not always the obvious one. Light from a north-facing window can wash out the screen, a wall with a door swing next to it limits a full-motion arm, and a wall without a nearby power point means longer cable runs. When our team calls, they will ask about the room so the position works before the technician arrives.
Older homes (often built before about 1950) may have lath and plaster walls and newer ones plasterboard, so each house is checked on site. If the wall cannot carry the bracket safely, we will suggest another.
Getting the height right
A TV mounted too high is easy to regret. We mark the bracket height from where you actually sit, and if you want the screen above a cabinet or sideboard, measure the furniture first so there is clearance underneath.
Keeping the cables tidy
Surface cable management is available. If you want the cables hidden inside the wall, an electrician does that work and it is charged separately. In a townhouse with a shared wall, concealment may not be possible, so ask our team when they call.

FAQs
Which wall should my TV go on?
Ideally one that is sound, out of direct window glare and close to a power point. Our team will talk it through with you before the visit.
Can you mount a TV in an older Pascoe Vale family home?
Yes, subject to checking the wall on site. Older homes may have lath and plaster, and we will confirm the position is suitable before drilling.
Can the cables go inside the wall?
Concealment is done by an electrician and charged separately. It may not be possible on some shared townhouse walls.
Can you take down an old bracket before mounting the new TV?
Yes. Mention it when you book. We remove the old bracket, and patching the holes it leaves can be quoted at the same time if you want it.
